Briefing

Paste a handful of recent trades in any shape, one per line: what, entry, exit, and why you took it or closed it. It works out each trade's result, reads your notes the way a good coach would, and finds the habits that repeat (late exits, chased entries, nervous profit-taking).

You leave with one rule you can actually test over your next ten trades, and how to keep score.

What lands on your slip

  1. Every trade's result, worked out
  2. Your average win against your average loss
  3. The habits that repeat, with the trades that show them
  4. What's already working
  5. One testable rule for the next ten trades

Equipment it carries

Works from your inputs alone; no outside tools.

What I see

5 trades, and the most expensive habit is losses with no exit. Your average loss (−9.9%) is 1.8× your average win (+5.6%), and that gap is where the money goes.

The trades

TradeResultNote
SOL+7.7%cut early on nerves
JUP−12.7%no exit, loss ran
ETH+3.5%planned and followed
BONK−11.2%chased the candle
SOL−6.0%no exit, loss ran

Win vs loss

  • Average win +5.6% over 2 trades, average loss −9.9% over 3.
  • At those sizes you need to win 64% of trades just to break even.

Habits

  • Losses without an exit. JUP ("no stop, hoped it would bounce"), SOL ("moved my stop down twice"). The market decided how much these cost, not you.
  • Chased entries. BONK ("bought after a big green candle"). Buying right after a big candle tends to buy the local high.
  • Winners cut on nerves. SOL ("sold early, felt nervous"). The exit came from a feeling, not a level.

Working

  • ETH: a plan made before the entry and followed. That's the template.
  • Your reasons are honest ("sold early, felt nervous"). Keep writing them; they're the most useful part of the journal.

One rule for the next ten

Write the stop price on the line before you enter, place it as an order, and never move it further away. Track two things: how many of the ten trades followed the rule, and your average loss. If the average loss drops below your average win, the rule is working.
